Hogwarts Wall

I love photos, I really like to have an image of each person who is important for me. In consequence, my room is full of photo frames, most of them made by myself (I'll show you them in another post).

But to make things worse (well, my mum finds it a little bit annoying to have so many objects to clean on the shelves haha) one day, when I went to IKEA, I found an offer that I couldn't let blow.
I won't make publicity of this well-known shopping center, I'll only say that I got almost 20 frames to hang photos on my wall  for less than 10€.
If you have seen some Harry Potter's film and you remember its escalators' wall, you'll figure out how my room looks like.

I can't seem to feel the envy I should feel or maybe

Lighters

I'm almost sure that everybody has dreamed about having a secret tent at least once a life.
A place where you feel safe, a place where you can let your mind dream and be free.

I don't know from where this kind of lights are typical, I can only say that a room or a space decorated with them has to bring the sensations that I've already explained for sure.

I've searched them for more than a year and guess when did I find them? Yes, you'll be right if you've said Christmas! hahhaha I don't think that they are only for Christmas time but, if you do, I can't say anything about it. Nevertheless I reached my target and that's the important thing!

And now all I wanna see is a sky full of lighters...

It was always you falling for me

Now there's always time, calling for me

I'm the light blinking at the end of the road
Blink back to let me know
That I'm skin and bone
Just a king and a rusty throne, oh
The castle's under siege
But the sun outside says leave me alone

SUMMER...WELCOME TO MY LIFE

I'm so happy because from now on I'll be able to doggie as much as possible. Free time to read, watch MTV (ohh yeah), meet with friends and make some posts of course!!

So...see you soon!!

Cagelamp

Have you ever listened to Panic!at the disco? If the answer is no, I really think that you must listen to them immediately. I discovered them by chance, it's a long and boring story to tell, so instead of losing time on it I'll introduce them.

If you like Tim Burton and you have seen "Nightmare Before Christmas" you should know that they have written its most important song: "This Is Halloween".

 Panic!at the disco-This Is Halloween

Well, I like to listen to them because their songs create a charming, lovely, vintage and hopeful atmosphere. If you want, you can look for yourselves:

Panic!at the disco-She Had The World

This song says: "She spun the stars on her fingernails" Isn't that a nice idea to catch the stars and have them on your fingernails?

This sentence made me think about the idea of "putting in prision" in someway the light. And then, the idea came up! Make a lamp with a cage. Is that a very strange idea? Anyway, after looking for the appropiate cage for approximately half a year, I found this marvel.

The electric instalation has been made by myself.

I hope you enjoy it!!

Nine In The Afternoon

Back to the street where we began... ♪

Panic!at the disco-Nine In The Afternoon

Have you realized the amazing clock that appears in the video?
I just loved it and when I remembered that I had an alarm clock bell kept in my closet cause I didn't use it, I didn't doubt it.

'Cause it's nine in the afternoon.

And your eyes are the size of the
moon, you could 'cause you can so you do,
we're feeling so good, just the way that we do
when it's nine in the afternoon .

So I just copied the idea and made my own 9 in the afternoon clock. Just think: If you want it, you can get it.

Hi! My name is...what? my name is...who? my name is...

Aída. Well, first of all I thought that I must explain why I have created this blog. Sincerely, this is the third one that I start, so I think it's high time to do it and do it right.

Since I was little (oh my god, it sounds a little bit strange when you realize that I'm only 19 years old) I loved painting and making little presents to my parents. I dreamed about being an artist and now that I'm at university I still think about it. I'm studying translation and interpretation but as soon as I have some free time, I spend it to design objects and decorate my room.

I don't pretend to be an artist or gain money with this but as people think I'm talented (poor narcisist you'll think hahah) why don't share my work and tell you where my inspiration comes from?

Perhaps someday I will be so lucky that people will get interested in my work and will enjoy and understand it.

So ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the show!!
