HOLA DE NUEVO!!!!

Últimamente estoy intentando volver a ser la persona enérgica y alegre that I used to be...(aunque siempre haya algo o alguien que me lo impida) cuándo nada me preocupaba tanto como para romperme el sueño,  cambiarme el humor e incluso la personalidad.  Volver a mis orígenes,  empezando por escuchar de nuevo a los grupos que me hicieron apreciar la música, pasando por retomar viejas aficiones como el hacer manualidades (DIY) y acabando por dedicarme con cuerpo y alma a lo que en realidad me llena y satisface: el estudio y el deporte. Ya sabéis: "mens sana in corpore sano". Dicho todo esto, os presento mi nueva sección del blog: como no podía ser de otra forma, se llama DIY. He aprovechado otras entradas que hice a los inicios del blog (nine in the afternoon, sick little games y cagelamp) para ponerles la misma etiqueta porque bueno,  si les echáis un vistazo veréis que se ajustan.

Os presento un bote de jabón reutilizado, a ver si adivináis para qué sirve!

YO-HO, YO-HO A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME!

Don't you like Pirate's stories? 

Since I was little I dreamed about finding a treasure map hidden in my garden. Can you imagine? Travelling all around the world with the greatest ship ever seen, rooms full of gold coins, rings, jewells, beautiful clothes...

I must say that I love ancient and classical things. You can check it if you look at me because I usually wear a cameo necklace. I also like the ancient Egypt and I wish I can visit this country some day...while this day arrives, I study the arabic language, nobody knows where you will built your home!

About a month ago, my mom gave me this lovely box.

 Can you see its print? It's an old map!

When I saw it, I just thought, I have to make 

something like this, 

so I recovered some old geography maps and newspapers and, well,do you think that I can make something useful with this?

Have you ever listened to Panic!at the disco? If the answer is no, I really think that you must listen to them immediately. I discovered them by chance, it's a long and boring story to tell, so instead of losing time on it I'll introduce them.

If you like Tim Burton and you have seen "Nightmare Before Christmas" you should know that they have written its most important song: "This Is Halloween".

Well, I like to listen to them because their songs create a charming, lovely, vintage and hopeful atmosphere. If you want, you can look for yourselves:

This song says: "She spun the stars on her fingernails" Isn't that a nice idea to catch the stars and have them on your fingernails?

This sentence made me think about the idea of "putting in prision" in someway the light. And then, the idea came up! Make a lamp with a cage. Is that a very strange idea? Anyway, after looking for the appropiate cage for approximately half a year, I found this marvel.

The electric instalation has been made by myself.

Have you realized the amazing clock that appears in the video?
I just loved it and when I remembered that I had an alarm clock bell kept in my closet cause I didn't use it, I didn't doubt it.

 

  'Cause it's nine in the afternoon.

 

 

 

And your eyes are the size of the 

 moon, you could 'cause you can so you do, 

we're feeling so good,just the way that we do

 when it's nine in the afternoon .

So I just copied the idea and made my own 9 in the afternoon clock. Just think: If you want it, you can get it.
